a r t i s t p r o f i l e : P H I L I P H O U S E G OPhilip or "Pip" as he's known, is a qualified photographer. Born in Surrey, he attended Epsom Art School as a weekend student whilst at school. He studied photography and gained a HND at Aberdeen College. His current work is best described as "Abstract Landscape", in which elements of the landscape natural and man-made, are used to create new patterns and rhythms, often linked to musical themes as in the jazz series. The transient nature of shadows is also often explored. His work can be found in collections in Scotland, England, Germany, U.S.A and Canada.
