Ann Madden

Having being brought up in Africa, I moved to Edinburgh to train as a Graphic Designer and later worked in advertising.  I now live in Aberdeenshire where I like to paint vibrant graphic skies, landscapes and wildlife.  The colours in my paintings remind me of the skies abroad and I like to incorporate them into different scenes.  My work is bright as I use pure colours, I never mix my colours with black, they come straight out of the tube.  I usually paint in oils/acrylics on canvas. My prints are quite big, anything from 19"x19" with 2" border and printed on Hahnemuhle Willian Turner 310gsm mould made paper with pigment inks lasting durability.  These giclee prints are limited editions and dispatched on a roll.
