Myrtle Watt

Myrtle spent 4 years at Gray's School of Art, Aberdeen and graduated in Art and design in 1979. Once qualified she opened a gallery in Kincardine O'Neil, Aberdeenshire selling paintings and original design textiles. After a successful 15 years she decided to sell the gallery and set up a studio at Torran Darroch, Aboyne to paint and display her work .Over the years she has exhibited in the Aberdeen Art Gallery with Gray's Graduates and Aberdeen Artist Society . Winning some prizes along the way.  Many of her works are in private collections. Artaboyne now features in her life of which she has been a committee member for over 15 years. She continues to enjoy painting particularly of Scottish landscape and Botanical subjects.
